Knuckle palmistry
I came across a book; The New Palmistry, by Judith Hipskind, printed in 1996, that suggests she has discovered a new system to read hands that involves reading the back side of the hand in the knuckle area. She claims that the lines and symbols reveal much more than the palmistry lines she had been studing for the prior 15 years.
Has anyone had any experience with this system?

Judith Hipskind was one of my favorite authors on palmistry. Her style is similar to Lori Reid. The book she wrote prior to "The New Palmistry" is called "Palmistry, the Whole View" and I would highly recommend it. This book on knuckles, I also have, but I wouldn't recommend it. I tried out some things right after I bought the book but didn't get good results.

Re: Knuckle palmistry
Thanks Patti,
The book on knuckles looked complicated to me, and I was wondering if others found good results with it. ( hence it might be worth wrestling with ).I have never read a book by either authors, but will keep note of Hipskind's other books now, thanks for the recommendation.
P.s.
What I seem to be noting, is that as time evolves more and more diff systems using diff parts of the body to reflect the whole, (physical and non physical) are discovered. First ones I know of used items outside of the body like divination by rocks, cards but now appear to focused on parts of the human body itself, knuckles, feet, finger whorls, palm lines, shape of hands, facial features. I find that interesting. Like honing in closer and closer to source.

Exactly (as I see it)!
Cellular or DNA - who we are, is who we are, even to a single cell.
One of my current favorite quotes is from Purkinje (first to identify and classify fingerprints) is:
"It is an imperative belief of the natural scientist that each and every modification of a subjective state in the sphere of the senses corresponds to an objective state" - Purkinje (1819, 1823)
When you find him referenced in the dermatoglyphic literature he is mentioned as only the first to classify fingerprints but didn't do much else. They ignored his greater work which I see expressed in the above quote. That, if anything, is the main principle for our ability to relate physical features, of the hands, to conscious and subscious states of mind.
