Re: Autism Gal and Her Hands
Thanks Kiran, interesting story.
('Weird hand gestures' is a typical feature in autism - though it's not always seen in autism)
Re: Autism Gal and Her Hands
Thanks Kiran, extraordinary story! RH little finger looks unusually long!
Re: Autism Gal and Her Hands
Fascinating! A little unnerving to have a child that reads your mind though.
I recently read that cats have a similar sense of reading their owner's mind and hide before the vet appointment.
I wonder if these are primitive pre-language empathy skills that most humans no longer have, or have so distinctly. Skills that were replaced with language, but perhaps her efforts to cope with communication these skills became enhanced.
Looks like she has a form of a Sydney and a very deepvertical diagonal crease from the life line toward the little finger.
Thanks Kiran!

Re: Autism Gal and Her Hands
Thank you all.
This gal is my friend's friend's friend's daughter. He has posted it in FB.
I am trying to reach them via my friend asking for hand pics.
If the parents permit and share the pics, I'll share them here. Let us see.
B.t.w. do you think, is it her extra-ordinarly long pinkey finger that is making her to communicate on non-physical plane? Like reading minds and emotions of her mother?

Thank you Patti. Regarding this deep diagonal crease from life line towards the little finger,Patti wrote:Looks like she has a form of a Sydney and a very deepverticaldiagonal crease from the life line toward the little finger.

I think the long little finger would represent her desire to communicate. I think the creases and ridges would give us clues to how she functions.
