Maybe the key way to express it is that the core, and its recurving ridge, should straddle the triradius.

The other 'loop' pattern you are identifying is part of normal patterning formed under the fingers by how the main lines from each triradii flow. The main lines can 'trap' ridges within a variety of boundaries. The core is the important aspect to loops. If the core is interdigitally then it is an interdigital loop. There are always those patterns that are in that fine stage of transition between two patterns, but that usually only involves one or two ridges in question.

Hello Patti

Does teacher marking have to relate with saturn finger, because i was reading unger book where he equates saturn finger with mentor, not only that, in jeniffer hirsch book she also gives some kind of meaning to teacher in relation to saturn finger.

Thanks

I think it's traditional to apply teacher, mentor, guide, wise person, hermit, medicine man/woman, etc. etc. to the middle finger. These are related to Saturn which has been generally assigned to the middle finger. We are assigning personality traits to characteristics in the qualities of this finger and looking for similiar qualities in others who have the same type of finger. The finger doesn't come labelled with Saturn we apply this to the finger not the other way around. Teaching qualities are not limited to the middle finger.

Hello Patti

I understand what your saying on fingers. Teaching qualitiies also relate to communication how you communicate and convey, so in some sense it has some relationship with mercurian qualities. Does a loop connectivity between saturn and mercury enhance the teaching qualiities, since middle finger is represented by order, strucuture, responsibiliites and little finger communcation ect does connectivity improve those abilities.

Thanks

When you think about it, communication skills are probably a priority to teaching skills. Very Happy

A loop wouldn't be the proper terminology for how the ridges would flow between the middle and little fingers. In this case you are following the patterns formed by the main lines from the triradii. There hasn't been any research related to what you are asking. I imagine there are many out there willing to make up a meaning based on this is connected to that, so therefore it must mean this, kind of logic.
