New study from Korea says: 'finger length predicts penis length!'

Have you ever heard of this guy named 'Ron Jeremy' - who is also known for quite a few years as the 'most succesful' porn star of all times. Wikipedia says that his name is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for "Most Appearances in Adult Films", and... he is noted for his supersize penis, counting 9.75-inch [24.75 cm] (a 'self-report' according Wikipedia).

Now... let's take a look at his handprints (see below). You will probably notice that his ring fingers are of rather exceptional length: each ring finger is almost as long as the middle finger! And the photo indicates that his '2D:4D digit ratio' is close to 0.85, which is exceptionally small for a Caucasian male.




But... how surprizing is this really???

Because, on july 4 Korean researchers have reported that the finger length ratio indeed does correlate with penis size!


So... British psychologist John T. Manning, who is a.k.a. the 'finger professor'... was right again!

Because Manning wrote in his second book 'The Finger Book':

“... My guess is that they would have found the ring finger the strongest predictor, and that long ring fingers in relation to index fingers would be associated with longer penises."

Hi Ron, be aware... a 'fair' comparison requires a correction for average body height - the table below presents the necessary details.


... I think the World Map of Fingerprint indicates that in countries where 'arches' dominate - African countries - the largest phalluses are found (after correction for body length), while in countries where 'whorls' dominate - Asian countries - the average phallus is relatively small (even when corrected for body height).

By the way, Jamaicans are known for having the lowest digit ratio in the world + they also have a high percentage of arches: about 10%... and the table below indeed confirms that they belong to populations where the highest phallus size is found (next to some other African countries).


Still searching for a country that is known for having a HIGH digit ratio + HIGH percentage of whorls.... would be interesting to see where such a country would show up in the penis-size rankings (likely a low rank).

The combination of digit ratio + fingerprints appear to correlate even more significantly with penis length!

NOTICE: However... interestingly, the 'weight' of race appears to be much, much ... larger than the 'weight' of digit ratio and fingerprints!

I'm new to the forum and think its wonderful, thanks to all for making it happen.

Keep in mind I am writing with my own biased impressions as a woman on this subject.

The question of ring finger size to penis size is intriguing and I'm a bit shy to write about it but penis size seems to play an important role in our American culture with plenty of undertones and blatant references to virility and sexual performance related to the size of penis. I looked (however briefly, and perhaps not understanding the details) at the World Penis Size Chart and had a couple of thoughts . . .
Out of 120 Countries reporting there are 45 Self Reported and 75 Measured. There are 44 that report 6" or larger. 16 of these are measured and the remaining 28 are self reported.
In my thinking the self reported sizes seem questionable because I have never known any man who feels the size of his penis is large enough. And so, I question the validity of the self reported figures and this brings into question the validity of the World Penis Size Chart. That's all! Patricia

just got back from Maslin's nudist colony, 9C, and looking stupid and wearing sun-glasses!

Freezing cold here, but I can say there were plenty of men with long ring fingers who were well below average size- taking into account the conditions, but had short index fingers. So I am wondering if the combination of a long ring finger is over-ridden by a short index finger.

Those with both long ring fingers and index fingers seemed above average.

Go figure!

Penile Size Linked to Length of Fingers.

Researchers Find Association Between Penile Length and Ratio of Length of Men's Fingers.

The ratio between the length of the index finger and the ring finger of men's hands is associated with penile length, a study shows.

Researchers found that men with a lower ratio, or a shorter length of the index finger compared to the ring finger, tended to have a longer penile length.

Experts say these results may offer researchers insights beyond the obvious cocktail conversation.

They say “The length of the index and ring fingers of the right hand were measured prior to surgery, and flaccid and stretched penile lengths were measured while the participant was under anesthesia. I don’t know whether a penile can be stretched under the influence of anesthesia.

I wonder the length of the Ring finger will predict about the penile length besides the “facial attractiveness” or "hotness," or “magnetic sweating”, risk takers, athletic qualities in a person in future!
