Two arches on Venus mount?
I would appreciate it if somebody could shed some light on this palmar pattern on the Venus mount. It looks like two arches or a wave, but I haven't been able to find any information on either an arch on the Venus mount or a pattern similar to this.
Has anybody seen something like this before? Or have any idea what it could mean and how to interpret it?
Thank you!

Re: Two arches on Venus mount?
Hello Elizabeth Meyer,
What we see here actually represents a variant of a classic thenar pattern ((upper- and lower thenar combination) that is seen in the picture below.
I hope this is helpful?

PS. The pattern is much more common in the left hand, Cummins & Midlo presented in 1943 statistics which suggest that it was present in the left hands of 2.3% of 1281 Germans, while the same pattern in the right hand was present in only 0.2%. So, one can conclude here that many people have this pattern... so no need to worry about genetic disorders, etc.!
Re: Two arches on Venus mount?
Thank you for the feedback Martjin,
I was specifically wondering if there would be a "psychological characteristic" or hand analysis meaning associated with this pattern...

Interesting! I have never seen this before, no idea how to interpret it, sorry I am unable to help Elizabeth but thanks for sharing!
Re: Two arches on Venus mount?
Thanks Lyn!
Kevin Leak, my Chirology teacher, said the same with his 10 years of Hand Analysis experience. It was actually he who suggested I post the print here for feedback.
Would you interpret the marking as an arch on the Venus mount, though? And then associated the arch / earth type qualities with this person's Venus mount?

By the way Elizabeth, I understand why you associate this pattern with 'two arches'... but there are actually two 'loops' hidden inside this pattern, each featured with a triradus, see the picture below. In the palmistry literature this pattern is often described to represent a 'bee' pattern.
I hope this is helpful.
PS. In my perception there is no 'arch' at all inside this mount of venus, and in general... I can recommend to avoid the use of the term 'arch' to refer to any type of palmar pattern, because regrading fingerprints the term arch requires the missing of a triradius, but for the palm that fundamental principle doesn't work at all.
