Elongated whorl
The thumb and ring finger of right hand seem to display an elongated whorl. Any experience with these? Anything else interesting you see on the hands? The person said he would love to follow this thread and provide feedback.

Re: Elongated whorl
Hello Boaz
I looked at the pics i guess one of the thumbs looks like composite (double loop) and also the ringer finger looked like composite (double loop). If you look at the core it is more S shaped at centre. Probably he is abiltiy to look at multiple thinghs.
Thanks
Anand

Hello Anand,
I do see the double loops. All the formations are very elongated.
Thanks

Re: Elongated whorl
Guess you could test Ed's theory out about honesty with the extremely upright loops!
I would think the elongated nature is the appearance of the transition from loops to whorls in his genetics.

I asked him about Ed's theory He seemed to agree but also commented that he is a lawyer and that as much as he tries to be honest there are inevitably some situations where he slightly bend the truth. His responsibility and humor loop are also slightly elongated but otherwise I do not seem to see an extension of this feature in his palms.

I haven't got Ed's new book ... does he say that extremely upright loops are prone to fibbing? And low loops/ sideways loops more honest? Interesting ...

Re: Elongated whorl
I seem to recall it the other way around. That upright loops are very honest.
Is it honesty in a truer sense, or someone who is honest about what they say?

Re: Elongated whorl
Hi Boaz,
Is he over talkative? His 3rd phalange of little finger is bit too long.
Just met a person yesterday with this feature.

Hi Kiran,
I don't know him well enough. Met him yesterday at dance event and before few times. Yesterday he didn't seem over-talkative at all. He seems pretty enthusiastic though when he gets talking. I seemed to notice that you too have elongated loop on Mercury and relatively long distal phalanges. He has an interesting formation of overlapping life, head and heart lines on his left hand. I would guess some early trauma?

Re: Elongated whorl
Yes Boaz, I wanted to understand that first before commenting here.
I need to get answer on this.
However, I am bit honest in approach and telling the truth.zaobhand wrote: Is it honesty in a truer sense, or someone who is honest about what they say?
For ex: I had lost my job in the beginning of my career due to recession. My friend asked me to give my resume as her mom knows some big shots and she can try fwding my resume. I refused to give my resume saying I would like to go by my skillsets and not by this influencing routes.
Re: Elongated whorl
The job application process is quite tricky. Not all employers are wise enough to discern a good cv and they often look for a specific set of skills instead of the intelligence that could master new skills and much more in short time. I like your approach and in many ways have adopted it myself, but I may have also given my cv to your friend. It is also an interview, and you get a chance to view your employer and decide whether they are hiring you due to favoritism or whether their product is really worth anything and you would like to be part of it.

I have a friend with very high, upright loops, who is extremely blunt in her communications. Also has a headline that is straight as an arrow, which would add to the bluntness. She is "honest" in the way that she will tell people what their problem is and not beat around the bush. But at the same time she can be quite deceiving and manipulative when it comes to communicating her own feelings and thoughts.

Re: Elongated whorl
Hi Boaz, in that example, I didn't give CV 'coz, I felt it was not being fair with others who have worked hard than me and are more intelligent than me.
To give you another ex: My father used to take a nap in the afternoon on Sundays. At time, he used to tell me to say that he isn't at home, if someone visits asking for him. But, I wasn't able to tell this authentically, though I knew that no one would enter the house and check for his presence.I face this problem now also at work life.
To give another ex from around 15 yrs back: I had been to my relative's house with my cousin. My relative's son was in Dubai and he had lots of dubai coins at home. So, my relative gave couple of coins to me and to my cousin, as coin collection was a fantasy hobby. When my relative went inside, my cousing picked up couple of coins more from the box. She asked me also to take them. But, I didn't and I couldn't.
Another ex: While, I was purchasing the house, the owner wanted me to continue the deal without broker. He meant something like - we will eliminate broker, as the owner will also be benifitted. I told - "broker is the one who bought me to you. Lets wait for him. I can't continue without his presence". The owner was v. much impressed and he helped me in some other property issues too and he explicitly acknowledged my honesty!

Re: Elongated whorl
Hi Kiran,
These additional examples are helpful.
- I would have probably experienced slight issue about literally saying your dad is asleep, but also realize that it is his own doing.
- Nice that you didn't follow your cousin's example.
- The broker could have discovered your deal and caused you trouble. So here it may also be considered a wise choice. I did the same thing as you did when I looked for an apartment to rent some time ago.
Nevertheless, I have a feeling that I am not as literally honest as you are.

Re: Elongated whorl
Hello patti
Can you explain this " would think the elongated nature is the appearance of the transition from loops to whorls in his genetics"
Lot of times in this forum i have read this word transitioning from arch to loop ect.. and i get confused hre by the word, also in cummins and mildo chart they mentioned this.
Does this imply that the formation was going to be a whorl and was going through loop phase to become a whorl. why cant it be the whorl got elonagted during the formation.
Iam not able to get this meaning.
Thanks
Anand

Whatever the pattern is going to be on an individual finger, it's going to be - unless interference by the environment. The transistion is from generation to generation and the mixing of different types of prints between mom and dad and which genes are dominant.

Re: Elongated whorl
Okay, because i remember once you had shown the cummins mildo chart and mentioned transition and i was thinking there is some kind of process formation which these patterns go through from arches to loops ect depending upon certain conditions.
Okay now iam clear.
