Finger Lines 248721_10150211292723622_559538621_7095219_7121415_n

Are there any resources that you know of that address fingerlines? I have some fingerlines on my non-dominant hand that catch my curiosity. I tried to google them, but I can't find anything.

Thank-you!

Hi Jasmine,

The line on the top of your Jupiterfinger means that you live an active life, are very spiritual and have high moral and spiritual standards. The line on the lower joint of the same finger tells us more about your way of living you are very sensitive, always in consideration of others.

The line on the top of the Saturnfinger says that you get depressed or discouraged easily and that you have the tendency to escape or run away from reality if things become too difficult.

If you have more questions please let me know.

It's really rare to have such strong deep vertical lines running up your fingers - especially like the one on the index finger. We come across and read more about the blocking energy of the horizontal creases that it's obvious that the vertical deep creases make it through all or most obstacles in the locations they are found.

My curiousity would be about how this particular vertical crease divides the dermatoglyphic oblique ridge flow on the phalanges into ulnar and radial sides, while at the same time creates a clear channel of sorts from the palm to the fingertip. It's like "crease energy" overrides "ridge energy".

Maybe that could be read as you have done something amazing in overriding all obstacles (personal and environmental) to reach goals involving positions of power and authority.

With the many horizontal creases on your thumb (and other fingers, too) I think there is a natural tendency to not be very self-motivated, or otherwise to be a procrastinator. These vertical lines can literally be you picking yourself up by your own 'shoestrings' and getting yourself on task.

Hello queenkitty, Smile

The following link has the description about one indian classical palmistry, in that book, half of the portion talks about fine lines on fingers. Better buy this book to get the illustrative explanations.

https://www.modernhandreadingforum.com/t335-karthekeyan-system-of-indian-palmistry-lordkarthikeya-taught-this-divine-lesson-to-sages-of-india-153-lines-on-palm

Besides, Indian palmistry, 1890 and puruda samudrika lakshana 1895 has notes about lines on fingers and Interphalangeal lines. Those book details also available in this forum as discussed in some areas. Smile

Thank-you Patti! There are truths in what you and Mariska have said. A lot of these elements have been in the mix at some point.

Right now, though, I am living the hermit's life. Currently I am homeschooling one child with special needs. A good deal of my energy is focused on him and his development. All deadlines in my life are self-imposed.

I've had a couple near-death experiences under my belt where I've had to will myself to overcome them. But overall I would have to say that I have a strong will with a tendency to "make" things happen, just by willing it. Most days, though, I'm easy-going. Smile

Finger Lines Empty Finger lines

Post  nonas_insights Sun Jun 05, 2011 1:20 am

There is a book by Peter Hazel (who was my teacher some years ago in South Australia) on what finger lines mean on the different phalanges in his work "Palmistry" - I don't recall its correct title but you may be able to find his book searching by author's name.

In his book he itemises what the horizontal creases mean on every phalange of every finger and the thumb. The vertical lines, as I recall, are positive energies that help the person.
As I can't remember what all the horizontals meant I won't guess them here.

I didn't keep the book because there was much in it that didn't corelate with my experiences and I didn't want to fix in my mind things that just weren't right in practice.

Ok Nonas...yes...thank-you...if I run into his work, I'll take a look. Since I consider myself a palmistry young-un, I'll keep in mind your impression. I usually like to glean from many sources whenever possible.

But yeah, I have a lot of lines on the fingers, not just the ones that are showing up in the photo. Overall the vertical ones do outweigh the horizontal ones. They are just very fine and impossible to count. An in-person view of my fingers would probably remind someone of celery sticks. Since the two first fingers are the most noticeable, though, my mind kept being drawn to them. I do crafts with my hands, knitting and spinning yarn and so on, so it is kind of hard not to notice them.

The easiest way to understand these lines is to think of each horizontal line as a 'challenge' or 'block' to be overcome, and each vertical line as a 'breakthrough' or 'advancement'. For example, the little finger represents all forms of communication with others, so the extra line is an added communication challenge the person faces.

When vertical lines cut through the horizontal ones on fingertips, these lines show that challenge has been successfully overcome.

By bending the finger you can also see exactly where the horizontal lines are in relation to the joints. Low on the segment is early life, high up is late in life.

I'm totally agree with Parender. Moreover, there is still a book where the finger lines both horizontally and vertically. Beverly Jaegers "Beyond Palmistry II: your career is in your hands '' page136.
