My only suggestion is that it would be kind of you if you could give some basic information about what Neurosis actually is as I am sure many are not aware and they unnecessarily get alarmed by the name of it. Just like the word "Cancer" starts giving notions that they themselves have it or at least people around them could be having it....

Neurosis is at least detectable in the hand but "Character disorder" is the most difficult defect to find out through the hands unless the person is highly affected by it.

I have to correct you here regarding your use of the term 'neurosis': I didn't refer to the term 'neurosis' because neuroticism is not a synonym for a neurosis; both represent a completely different matter - let me explain this in short:

The Big Five dimension Neuroticism relates to 'normal' behavior (behavior that can potentially seen in any person), while neurosis relates to 'pathological' behavior (which involves psychiatric disorders).

I hope this makes sense now?

The latter page describes:

"Neurosis should not be mistaken for psychosis, which refers to a loss of touch with reality. Neither should it be mistaken for neuroticism, which is a fundamental personality trait according to psychological theory."

Neuroticism is similar but not identical to being neurotic in the Freudian sense (i.e. neurosis.) Some psychologists prefer to call neuroticism by the term emotional stability to differentiate it from the term neurotic in a career test.

And moreover, most of the contemporary Psychologists discuss more about Neurosis, which is actually similar to Neuroticism.

No problem rajashri, apparently you overlooked the words 'not identical'.

(By the way, the term 'neurotic' usually does refer to the issue involving 'neuroses')
