Hello,

In the left hand is the loop of memory I think.
But I don't think it is in the right hand.
Can anyone tell me?

Hello Sue,

Thank you for your respons.
But I thought the ridges of the loop had to touch the triadus on the Jupiter Mountain.
What is your opinion on that?

The aspect to notice of the triradius under the index finger is what is called the A main line. You trace the ridge from the triradius into the palm. This A main line mostly ends in a range from near the heart line to as far down to near the life line. Usually it ends generally in the area below the heart line and near the head line.

It is however interesting in how the A main line in your left hand is the core of the loop and becomes an enclosure.

My daughter has this line, It could well be called a loop of memory, but I call it same as Johnny Fincham and that is loop of sensitivity, I believe this to be true considering I know my daughter well. Johnny says it depicts someone who can tell if another is up to something, like psychic perception, and also he says what I truly believe it is that it is a sign of artistic responsiveness. This could be because the memory can recollect instantly so the person will be able to copy a picture they saw, and draw it. Thumbs up!

Loop of memory or not? Empty loop of memory

Post  Sue Miller Sat Feb 16, 2013 10:32 am

Sari, thanks for clearing this up for me, I have these loops on both hands and it has always puzzled me as to why my memory is not that good when I have the memory loops. I am an artist, I had no idea I was using my memory loops to do my clay portraits. I just thought I had good spatial awareness and hand eye coordination, (though I can't parallel park the car!) and yes I can often tell what people are up to!

Interesting points.
I too have these in my hands. I am not good at remembering facts and other mundane things. Infact, am bad at them.
But, I remember the lines and palms and facial features and also the way the fingers are positioned in the legs of ppl for a very long time.
Given a set of hands, I can tell whose hands are these, if I have dealt with those hands for around 4-5 times. I can easily trace back features to specific hand examples I have in my collections. This is how the memory loops are helping me, like a photo sensitive memory to me.
Given a set of facial features(say, just the nose, ears), I can relate them back to the person.

I think they relate more to a type of memory rather than a good or bad memory. Typically it's regarding a visual or sensual memory. Recalling and thinking things in a non verbal way.

Like having had a conversation with someone that was meaningful while sitting on a park bench looking at a pond. The next time you pass that spot or sit at that bench... the conversation comes to mind. Or, something from the conversation is brought up and the scene from the park bench appears on the mental screen.

It's isn't limited to just that. It's also often on people who either think better when near/in/looking at water or feel compelled to live near water.

Patti, thanks for clarifying my question.

The palmprints are my sister's.
She has a good sense for people who are no good. That, I know for sure.
But she often talks about past lives as well. She knows people who she had met before.
Or situations she's been into before. It is a kind of memory but I am not to sure about that one.

She is definitely not artistic.
But I think I understand what you all mean.
It's remembering by visualizing.
I know people who told me they had very good memories about details.
They know the color of their shirt on a certain birthday for example.

Well, I guess in the left hand is the loop of sensitivity and in the right hand the loop of memory??

Thank you all for responding.

Astrid

Loop of memory or not? Empty Re: Loop of memory or not?

I was about to start a new topic and found this one already started.

Miss Freeze's 'memory loop' is interesting in the way the core of the loop is formed by the radiant from the a triradius.

I think a true memory loop is one that is formed by ridges that are completely from the radial side of the index finger. Miss Freeze's is more like the tented arch pattern that can form under the ring finger in place of an interdigital loop.

In tracing some palms for samples for a blog post I found some interesting differences in the origination of these loops. Which might account even more for Sue's response about the type of memory she has. (Sue have you traced your ridges to see where they originate?)

I'm curious as to how others here would describe the following pattern. The 'interdigital loop' originates between the index and middle fingers and is more like an elongated raja loop.

Wow! That seems to be the more rarer location - or at least from the prints that I have in my computer files. Need to pull out my real folders of prints. (but have to clear my book and paper piles to start a new project work space first)

Do you have mixed senses in any ways at all. Such as smelling colors, seeing time in locations in space in your mind, tasting colors, numbers have colors, smells have colors, touch has color or taste/smell, and any other combinations you can think of..? Like seeing visuals of colors with music, too.

Cool! Doing that is called Synesthesia. There are a lot of good sites about it. Usually an ability of intuitives and artists.

At this link in the comments at the bottom of the article is another person (Jane) who sees days of the week in colors.

Francis Galton of fingerprint fame identified this ability and named it in the late 1800's.

My thought is that the 'misplaced' interdigital loop onto a different volar pad than its own is crossing the sensory perceptions. I need more samples and feedback.

Thank you for uploading your prints Sue!! They're not clear enough to see where the Main Line A from the triradius under the index finger goes. I'm wondering if the loop is fully inbetween the middle and index or does it straddle the triradius like a tented arch?

I've been tracing a few in my collection and it's interesting to see the variations in this 'memory loop'.

I also spent some time googling info about synesthesia. Apparently in the past few years it has become a big interest in neurological research. Also referred to as intermodal and multisensory integration.

Check out the images in this report:

p.s.
I'll send my email

Thank you for sending them!

It looks like the loop in the right hand is a memory loop and forms radially of the triradius. But, bounce .... you definitely have the elongated raja loop in the left hand!

Thanks!

Another question. Can you see where the t triradius is in the left hand?

I think with this long loop in the left hand, if I were to shade in the fields in different colors, the loop would have it's own color and that would give you an additional dg field in this area of the palm. I'll try to do that later today.
