AGENDA: Global Hand Days!

- These are a couple of dates where global (hands related) events are on the agenda -

International Handwriting Day (birthday of John Hancock - who became, in the United States, an informal synonym for signature)
February 12:
Red Hand Day (to draw attention to the fates of child soldiers)
August 9:
International Hand Holding Day (the initial appearance of this affectionate occasion, and the actual inventor of Hand-Holding Day has never been pinpointed. However, this midsummer holiday seems to be designed to flex friendliness among acquaintances and loved ones - source: Yahoo)
August 13:
International Left Hander's Day
October 15:
Global Hand Washing Day

Thanks for adding your suggestions: well done!
(I have only adopted the first two, since there appears to be no specific date for 'same sex hand holding day' - it appears that local communities tend to celebrate that in events that are not fixed to a specific date, etc.)
