A Case of Family Ring
Hi,
Please see the family ring in the attached pictures. He is not yet married. Staying with his parents. His relation with his parents if very good. But, here the family ring seems so messy. What are your opinions?

Re: A Case of Family Ring
The very first thoughts to enter my mind are the words "the family are in lock-step together, like it or not".
The chaining matches the chaining to the start of the connected head and life lines which are high set in the palm.
I add the 'like it or not' part because there is a continuous coming together and pulling apart of the creases in the chaining effect.
I think he comes from a family with high standards and expectations of himself and each other. There is some pulling away for individuality and independence but strength of the bonds and traditions are too strong to oppose or rebel too much against.
At the same time, I notice grills and other markings on the upper thenar showing a person who enjoys a good debate and can be argumentative. Narrow space between head and heart line would add to narrow views and increase the tendency to challenge things.

Dear Patti,
I agree with your description of the family ring. I know a person who has the same and he lived in a very big Joint Family when born more than 60 years ago. In the Joint Family everyone with different views pull you in different directions and hence that type of Family Ring.

Re: A Case of Family Ring
Hi Patti,
This is the first thing I also observed. But, I am surprised when he said - "family -father and mother are his best friends". Infact, he shares things with his father/mother, which he at times doesn't share with this friends!. Particularly, his left hand ring is highly looped. What can be other implications?Patti wrote:
