thinking ...Maybe I can explain why your 'palm reading project' is faced with resistance:

Though your initiative is welcome by principle... I would like to inform our members that you (Mark Stone) present yourself at your private website as a 'mentalist'.

And I have noticed at your private website that you do not express to have any experience in the field of palm reading...that is: you haven't mentioned the topic palm reading/palmistry at your website at all!

Therefore, in the perspective of your activities in the field of 'mentalism', I would not be surprized if you basically perceive palm reading as a form of 'psychic entertainment'.


Mark, if you study the content of this forum more thoroughly then you will notice that at this forum we do not consider palm reading as a form of 'psychic entertainment'. E.g. many topics at this forum are focussed on the scientific aspects of hand reading (including the academic diagnostic findings of scientists related to hands).


I hope this will explain why the MOTIVE behind your 'invitation' was questioned by 2 of our members ... because quite some people at this forum are very aware that palm reading can become a dangerous tool in the hands of people who know hardly anything about hands at all.

Therefore I would like to make people aware that there are quite a few risks to getting involved in any 'palm reading project' that appears to be organized by non-experts in the field of palm reading...!!!

Sorry MStone, I can only hope that the responses so far will now make sense for you as well.

I also would like to make noticed here that at an earlier phase at this forum we have decided not to open a 'chat-box' inside this forum... since we (the moderators) believe that such a service would probably not add anything to QUALITY of this forum. And I have never received any requests to get more 'social media' involved at this forum, and this forum has been a 'non-profit' project from the start.

So... scratch ... looks like Asif Amin & waqar.an have presented some valid questions:thank you guys for 'protecting' the Modern Hand Reading Forum!!! Thumbs up!
